Pacific Northwest Chapter

Suzanne Dudziak earned a Bachelor's degree in Geology from San Diego State University and a Master's degree in Hydrology from the University of Idaho. She is a registered geologist in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, and a licensed hydrogeologist in Washington. Suzanne spent the last 16 years of her career working for the Port of Tacoma as an Environmental Program Manager and Acting Director of Environmental Affairs. She has very recently left the Port to pursue a long-time dream of running her own consulting firm. As President of Greylock Consulting LLC, she still is assisting ports with environmental projects and is also working with National Water Surveying providing oversight for geophysical surveys that locate water in the subsurface.

Secretary
Marcia Knadle is a hydrogeologist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Seattle where she has worked on Superfundsite groundwater contamination projects for nearly 20 years. She has also worked for the U.S. Geological Survey in Tacoma and for the Shell Oil Company in NewOrleans. She holds an MS in Geology from the University of Montana and a BS in Geology from the Universityof Puget Sound.

Marcia is an active member of the AWG Puget Sound Chapter since its formation2 0 years ago, she has held every office except treasurer and was chair of the2 003 AWG Convention held in Seattle.She was also a long-time member of the AWG Board of Directors, where she waschair of the Field Trip Committee and organized several AWG field trips (including excursions to Mexico and Scandinavia), and is currently an Alternate Delegate for the Pacific Region. She is also a member of Northwest Geological Society, Geological Society of America, Association of Engineering Geologists,Washington Hydrologic Society, and the Association for Women in Science.
